Yesterday i went
Apr. 19th, 2008 | 11:22 am
to my first hardcore show. More on that later, but i learned a few things.
1. Take at least one water bottle. Preferrably two.
2. If your mom offers you a twenty dollar bill, take it. If you're anything like me, you'll want one of the $15 t-shirts they're selling.
3. Take a totebag to get everything in one place. You can easily sling it over your arm, if you don't mind holding something.
4. Wear a tank top or a cami, and a hoodie over, if it's cold while you're waiting in line. If you don't need a hoodie, then don't wear one. It will simply add to what you have to keep track of.
5. Don't don't don't wear flip flops. Especially if you're planning on going anywhere near the mosh pit.
To be continueddd.

The Color of Envy
Apr. 12th, 2008 | 09:21 pm
location: At home.
Jealousy visited me for a bit today.
So i decided to write a poem:
Oh jealousy, jealousy
i beg of you,
please exit my shell
of a human being.
You arrive at the most inconvenient of times,
and send my mind
spinning and reeling
colliding with walls
of my mind's interior.
What was once an average, muted polaroid picture
is now a vibrant one
menacing shades of green,
the color of envy.
All is well until you come around
Oh jealousy, jealousy
Please.
i like it, but i don't love it.
i'd like to add on to it, but this is all i have so far.
Kind of lighthearted and rhymey, compared to my usual poem writing style.
Perhaps it's my great mood!
No sarcasm intended, today sure was something.

Things That Made My Day
Apr. 3rd, 2008 | 03:33 pm
location: My houseee.
mood:
content
music: Pauline Croze
Today, I wore a gray hoodie that i got on sale for $10 at Journeys over the weekend. it has a rocketship on one side, in primary colors. On the bottom opposite side, there's a moon with a cylinder over one of its eyes. i can't figure out what that is[my guess is a telescope or a can of soda], so i've been asking a few of my friends.
Their replies:
Alysa: Oh, i thought it was a battery!
Elly: ..it looks like a cigarette.
Ashley: i think it looks like a scroll of paper.
Right after school, i spotted one of my guy friends, Erik.
He showed me his new bright yellow Apple Bottom capris. :]
He makes me so happy.
When my bus got to the first stop, a little boy came onto the bus to get his backpack that he forgotten.
It warmed my heart, for some reason.
Children have that effect on me. =)
